Shipping and handling is unique to your order because it is calculated by your zip code and the weight of your order.
How Your Tamales Are Shipped
Orders with Standard Shipping will typically arrive in 3-5 business days (excludes weekends), taking 2 days to arrive after being shipped. They will go by UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, depending on your location.
When we ship your order, you will receive an email notification (if you entered a valid email address), and Standard Shipping orders will arrive 2-3 days later.
Standard Shipping orders are normally shipped on Monday - Wednesday.
If you would like to make your order a RUSH shipment, please choose Expedited Shipping when you check out.
Orders with Expedited Shipping will typically arrive in 2-4 business days, taking 2 days to arrive after being shipped.
We process and ship Expedited orders Monday - Wednesday; Thursday or Friday if you request it in Special Instructions.
Your tamales are packed in a
thick-sided styrofoam cooler with dry ice packs and dry ice to keep them cold (often frozen), and they won't spoil. Just put them in the freezer or refrigerator when you get them.
Your tamales come vacuum-sealed (cryovac), so that they stay fresh for days (21+) in the refrigerator, and months (12+) in the freezer.
When Are Your Tamales Shipped?
Shipping days are Mon, Tue, & Wed. We will ship on Thursday and Friday by special request. During Christmas season, we ship 6 days a week (and some nights).
Specified Delivery Dates: If you'd like to order now and specify a delivery date prior to any Holiday or Special Occasion, you can indicate that in the Special Instructions area you'll see on the Shipping Information page when you checkout.
